In 2024, the Yamato Group formulated its medium-term management plan, “Sustainability Transformation (SX) 2030 ~1st Stage~, ” which aims to enhance the sustainability of both society and the company by combining economic, environmental, and social values, with the aim of becoming a“ value-creating company that contributes to the realization of a sustainable future ” as its vision for 2030.

In this medium-term management plan, along with improving profitability in our core areas by strengthening the TA-Q-BIN（Takkyubin） network, we are considering business expansion into the upstream areas of the supply chain in contract logistics and global logistics, which are growth areas, as well as business and capital alliances and M & A with other companies as one of the means to further accelerate and realize the growth speed.

In addition, as a sustainable business model that solves social issues through our business, for example, we have launched a new SX business group, such as the launch of “EV Lifecycle Service ” utilizing the knowledge of introduction and utilization of commercial EVs cultivated in the last mile area, the establishment of Yamato Energy Management Co., Ltd., to support the realization of decarbonization (electrification and conversion to renewable energy) by customers, and the launch of Sustainable Shared Transport Co., Ltd., which provides an open platform for joint transport and delivery to improve logistics efficiency.

In order to achieve profit growth through these business portfolio transformations, we will seek to identify growth buds within the group, promptly invest the group's management resources based on a commercialization hypothesis, and promote a governance structure that accelerates growth. In addition, we will promote management that emphasizes capital efficiency, and strengthen balance sheet management in a timely and appropriate manner to achieve sustainable corporate value improvement.

Without forgetting the spirit of innovation that has been passed down since our founding, we will earnestly listen to the voices of our diverse stakeholders and work as one to Yamato Group continue to create “New logistics ” and“ New value ” for society as a whole.
