As an infrastructure company that supports society, the Yamato Group has defined its purpose as enriching society through its business activities.

We launched the Yamato Group medium-term management plan, “Sustainability Transformation 2030 ~1st Stage~” in April 2024. With the management theme of “a value-creating company that contributes to the realization of a sustainable future,” we aim to support the sustainable development of both society and businesses by combining economic, environmental, and social value. In addition to continuing to promote business structural reforms, we are carrying out business portfolio reform through the reinforcement of our base, the TA-Q-BIN network, expansion of the corporate business domain, and creation of through new business models to address the needs of society.
Focusing on the base domain in particular, at the end of January 2024, we declared our commitment to achieving and maintaining carbon neutrality in our TA-Q-BIN services under the international standard ISO 14068-1:2023 for TA-Q-BIN, TA-Q-BIN Compact, and EAZY.

In our initiatives for sustainability, which is our Group management foundation, we will strengthen our initiatives for each of the key issues (materiality). In order to enhance corporate value and realize a sustainable society over the medium to long term, we will base these initiatives on our two visions: “Connect. With regard to the environment, in order to realize “net-zero in-house greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in 2050” and “48% reduction in in-house GHG emissions in 2030 (compared with fiscal 2020),” we will continue to implement measures such as the introduction of 23,500 EVs, the introduction of 810 solar power generation units, the elimination of dry ice usage, and an increase in the usage rate of electricity derived from renewable energy sources, to 70%. We will also reduce our in-house (Scopes 1 and 2) GHG emissions and work to reduce supply chain (Scope 3) emissions. In addition, we will provide resource recycling solutions and promote green and resilient logistics.
